Hello, Hallo, Hei
Hi this is Amanda! I am currently a fourth year student at the University of Florida. In Fall 2022, I will graduate with my Bachelors of Science in Animal Sciences, and a minor in International Studies of Agricultural and Life Sciences. My goal is to become a Public Health Veterinarian, hopefully dealing with Global Aspects. I have just applied to veterinary school and hope to obtain a Masters in Public Health as well.
My Story
Aside from academics, I have always been interested in international affairs and learning about different cultures and countries. Traveling and immersing myself in different environments always fuels my soul. Alongside this, I love to hike and do activities outdoors as much as possible. Another big passion of mine is animals. I think that may be a bit obvious given my future career, but I truly enjoy my interactions with animals whether it is a small companion animal or an exotic animal I view from afar. Animals are so fascinating. At home, I like to bake and cook new creations for my friends and family. Preparing unique and tasty espresso-based drinks using my minature espresso machine also brings me joy. One of the last odd hobbies of mine is watching National Hockey League hockey. Since I was four-years-old I have been an avid Tampa Bay Lightning fan. Whether I am watching on TV or in the arena, I love the game. My dad and I have a bucketlist to travel to all of the National Hockey League Arenas. We have been to 17 out of 32 arenas so far!
